Why dermal fillers, and why now?
Ageing of the face is driven as much by volume loss and structural change as by lines on the surface. When the deep fat pads and bone support diminish, the face can look tired, flatter, or older than you feel — and creams cannot address that, because the change is beneath the skin.
Hyaluronic acid fillers restore that lost volume and support directly where it has gone, softening folds, refreshing the eyes, and rebalancing the proportions of the face. Because hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the body, these fillers are well tolerated, and importantly they are reversible — a distinct safety advantage.
The goal at this clinic is restoration, not exaggeration. Good filler work is invisible: people should notice you look well, not that you have had something done.
What fillers can do.
Cheeks & Midface
Restoring volume to flattened cheeks lifts the midface and softens the folds that run from nose to mouth — often the single most rejuvenating treatment.
Lip Enhancement
Subtle definition and hydration for thin, ageing, or asymmetric lips, keeping a natural shape rather than an overfilled look.
Under-Eye (Tear Trough)
Carefully placed filler can soften dark, hollow under-eyes that make you look tired — an advanced area best treated by an experienced doctor.
Chin & Jawline
Defining a weak chin or a soft jawline to improve facial balance and profile, without surgery.
How treatment works.
After a consultation to plan your treatment and discuss realistic goals, a numbing cream (and often anaesthetic within the filler itself) keeps the procedure comfortable. Treatment usually takes 20 to 45 minutes depending on the areas.
The filler is placed precisely using a fine needle or a blunt-tipped cannula. Results are visible immediately, though there may be some mild swelling at first that settles over the following days.
What to expect afterwards.
Mild swelling, tenderness, or small bruises are common for a few days and easily covered with makeup. The filler settles into its final, natural result over about one to two weeks.
Depending on the area treated and the product used, results last roughly 9 to 18 months before the body gradually and naturally breaks the filler down. Because it is hyaluronic acid, it can also be dissolved quickly if you ever wish to reverse or adjust it — a reassurance that permanent fillers cannot offer.
